Cold brew coffee is a popular beverage made by steeping ground coffee beans in cold water for an extended period of time. Housed in an amber glass bottle is Subko’s take on the cold brew - ’Dawn’ for a lighter, brighter roast profile, and ‘Dusk’ for a bolder, darker roast profile. I designed the dual tone stickers that go on these caffeine vials.
It had been a few weeks since I joined Subko when I was briefed about this project. I had thoroughly studied the base design assets and the visual tone of the brand by then and was keen on using them to create something totally fresh but familiar enough to retain and extend the brand recall value.
Created a dawn and dusk motif-scene with the coffee bean as the sun positioned snugly under the iconic Subko tri-script (that’s what we call it at the studio - a cluster of three different scripts). It paints the popular 'coffee and sunset/sunrise' fantasy with a dual tone minimal vector art.
This being a small-batch series, the in-house team manually puts labels and adds the date and coffee details. So, the label had to be easy to apply and customize.
We created a split (two piece) label printed on a waterproof sticker sheet. In order to make it easy for the team to add information to the bottle, the title was retained in the front and all the adjustable information was kept on the back.
It was warmly appreciated both online and in the cafés. People seem to absolutely love to click and put their cold brew on the Gram before they sip it!
If you stay in India, you can get one for yourself at Subko Coffee. And remember, always have it on the rocks!
