Custom signage for custom bakes.

Subko periodically runs a made-to-order bake session exclusively for BSC, Khar. The design brief was to create a unique identity for the pop-up store revolving around a new intellectual property that Subko created for custom baked goods titled ‘Subko Custom’.

The design

The top section of the signage houses backlit alphabets displaying the title of Subko's custom bakes creation, 'Subko Custom,' while the lower section is a customisable unit that showcases the name of the bake being served. It's a removable acrylic sheet with a vinyl sticker applied to it, making it completely customisable while preserving the retro shop signage vibe that Subko admires.

Enclosing, I'd like to mention another idea that didn't go through. A moving block identity (diagram on the left) and installation was proposed as an option. The team felt that since the bake line-up often included a contemporary spin on a classic dish, the half digital - half analogue signage was a better approach to convey the custom bakes concept.
